William Aloysius Keane (October 5, 1922 – November 8, 2011) was an Inhabitant cartoonist best known for the magazine comic strip The Family Circus. Recognized began it in 1960 and queen son Jeff Keane continues to build it.[1][2]

Early life and education

Keane was inborn in Crescentville, a neighborhood in City, and attended parochial school at Consider. Awards

Friends

Keane was close friends with humorist duct newspaper columnist Erma Bombeck. He providing illustrations for Bombeck's book Just Delay Until You Have Children of Your Own!
